About the event

Summer Solstice | Acupuncture & Sound Healing Journey

As we journey toward the brighter, more expansive days of summer, we’re delighted to invite you to our second Acupuncture & Sound collaboration — a nourishing seasonal gathering rooted in rhythm, ritual, and deep rest.

This time, we come together to honor the element of Fire — a force of transformation, warmth, connection, and joy.

In East Asian Medicine, summer is the domain of the Heart and Small Intestine meridians, guiding our capacity for clarity, communication, intimacy, and delight.

It’s a time when nature reveals herself in full bloom — the energy of spring’s growth now maturing into fullness. Just as the earth bursts into color and song, we too may feel the stirrings of aliveness, the urge to express, connect, and shine more brightly.

This is the most Yang season — light-filled, outward-moving, vibrant — culminating at the Summer Solstice, where we meet the year’s longest day. It’s an invitation to gather in community, to celebrate what’s flourishing, and to lovingly tend to what’s tender or quietly unfolding within.

Let’s come together in this radiant moment — to listen, receive, and reconnect with the wisdom of our hearts.

Together, we’ll:

🌿 Explore the energies of the Heart and Fire element, with insights on how to support ourselves during this season

🌺 Share intentions and reflect on what’s blooming within — or perhaps what feels tender, stuck, or quietly waiting to emerge (all is welcome)

🌀 Receive a gentle acupuncture treatment and grounding touch

🎶 Be guided by Adeline on a deeply restorative Sound Journey

🍵 Sip herbal tea and rest in community

About Emily:

Emily is an Herbalist and Registered Acupuncturist who lives, practices and raises her family in the Cowichan Valley. She practices Tradition Chinese Medicine, informed by 5 Element lineages, and has additional training in Medical Qi gong, acupressure, and earth based therapies. Currently, she enjoys treating all kinds of patients- and especially has enjoyed caring for women and mothers, pre & postnatal care and birth support as well as hosting monthly community acupuncture and herbal resources for local youth.

She is deeply inspired and resourced by her connection and love for plants and the natural world.

About Adeline:

Adeline is a Sound and Energy Healer, Thai Massage Practitioner, trained in Kundalini Dance. Her journey into healing began with Kundalini yoga and chanting, opening the doorway to energy work, Reiki, and the unseen currents of life.

The birth of her Sacred Drum deepened her connection to the Earth and its whispers—the trees, the elements, the animals, and the spirit world. Through this deep listening, she found her anchor, her strength, and the remembrance of an ancient wisdom flowing through her.

This path has been one of heart-opening and voice liberation, guiding her back to the essence of her medicine. Through sound, she transmits the vibrations and codes she carries—offering healing, reconnection, and a bridge to the sacred.
