Horse & Sound Medicine
An Afternoon of Connection, Presence & Deep Rest
Thursday, July 9th | 2:00–4:30pm | $55 | Invitation Only
Join us for a nourishing afternoon of connection, presence, and deep rest, held by the wisdom of horses and the healing qualities of sound.
We will begin by gathering on the land before being introduced to the resident horses. Alexa will guide us in meeting each horse, sharing about their unique personalities and inviting us to connect with them in a grounded and respectful way.
We will then settle into a shared circle, set our intentions, and Adeline will guide us through an immersive sound healing journey using voice, singing bowls, gong, drum, and other instruments.
Horses have an extraordinary ability to sense and respond to the energy around them. Their calm presence invites us to slow down, become more aware of ourselves, and return to a state of authenticity and connection. Combined with the therapeutic qualities of sound, this experience supports relaxation, nervous system regulation, emotional release, and a deeper sense of inner harmony.
The sound journey offers a space to rest, listen, receive, and reconnect with yourself.
We will close with a sharing circle and a cup of herbal tea.
Come as you are and allow yourself to be supported by the gentle presence of horses, sound, and nature.

Meet your facilitators:
Alexa:
Alexa is an Osteopathic Practitioner (DOMP), equine educator, and lifelong student of the relationship between humans, animals, and well-being.
Drawing on over 20 years of experience in kinesiology, manual therapy, energy work, and osteopathy, her work is grounded in deep listening, curiosity, and collaboration.
Horses have been at the heart of Alexa's life and work for many years. Through her programs, courses, podcast, writing, and one-on-one work, she supports people in cultivating a more connected, respectful, and heart-centered relationship with horses.
Living alongside her horses Raven, Diva, Gwynna and Reykur in the Cowichan Valley, Alexa is passionate about creating spaces where both people and animals can be met with presence, authenticity, and care.
Adeline:
Adeline is a Sound and Energy Healer and Thai Massage Practitioner, also trained in Kundalini Dance.
Her work weaves together sound, energy, and intuitive movement to support a return to the body — where the nervous system can settle, the breath can deepen, and a more honest connection to self can emerge.
Through crystal and Tibetan bowls, gong, drum, and voice, she creates spaces of deep listening and presence, where what is ready to release, shift, or integrate can unfold naturally.
Alongside her sound work, Adeline also facilitates movement journeys inspired by Kundalini Dance teachings, inviting a gentle exploration of the body’s energy through intuitive, free-form expression.
Her approach is grounded, intuitive, and rooted in a deep connection to the Earth — offering spaces that are both supportive and quietly transformative.
